NEW SIXTH GRADE TEACHER AT D.H. ROBBINS

There is one new face among the faculty at D.H. Robbins Elementary School this year, sixth-grade teacher Thomas Jordan.
A graduate of Greenwich High School in Washington County, Jordan attended Fulton-Montgomery Community College for two years and transferred to SUNY Oneonta. After graduation, he became a substitute teacher in Schuylerville and Cambridge schools and started a power washing business, which he still operates. St. Johnsville is his first full-time teaching position.
Jordan and his wife Marcie, a teacher in Mayfield Central School, live in Saratoga with their chocolate lab, Tucker, a therapy dog who will likely make an appearance or two at D.H. Robbins this year. In his spare time, Jordan likes to spend time outdoors including hiking, hunting, and fishing.
